Affordable Housing Capital Funding Guide 09/10

This is the homepage of the Affordable Housing Capital Funding Guide. This Guide contains the rules and procedures for housing associations that have received grants through the National Affordable Housing Programme from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).

As well as grant funded schemes, this Guide will also provide occasional information on Nil and Absolute Nil Grant schemes.

Using this site

Affordable housingThe Affordable Housing Capital Funding Guide (AHCFG) contains six books. These can be accessed by clicking on the headings in the pink boxes above. The Related Information menu to the right of the page contains a number of extra pages relevant to particular parts of the AHCFG. If you can’t find what you’re looking for in the AHCFG, you may wish to look at the Guide Index (please see the link at the top of the page) or use the search facility. Older versions of the AHCFG are available in the library below.

Alongside the requirements in the guide, there is additional guidance, indicated by an asterisk symbol. The guidance will appear in a pop-up box when you click on the asterisk like this:

This is how the extra guidance appears.

Once a pop-up box is open, the main entry is greyed out. However, if you move the pop-up box to the left hand side of the screen and resize it, the guidance can be viewed at the same time as the corresponding text in the requirements.
